i'm back at school. i didn't die, i didn't go plunging off the road to an icy death. i slid a little here and there, had to carefully avoid trucks that were sliding a lot here and there.... i survived.

got to the school, parked my car, and grabbed just a few things from the backseat to carry in with me. when i was passing by the windows of the lobby i saw my boys hanging out (don't think they knew i was coming back today). steve saw me, looked a little puzzled, then grinned really big, pointed and shouted, then jumped up and ran to open the door for me.

it always feels good to know that you are missed. ran around to say hi to people and take care of some stuff, so i really didn't get to sit down and hang out with them at all, but then around 11ish i came back to the dorms, went to their room, plopped down in my chair, and didn't move until 2:45am.

there are things that i do not miss about this place and there are things that i'm dreading to face now that i'm back. but one of the things i miss more than anything is the comfort of just sitting in the room with the guys, talking about getting pulled over by the cops or listening to the newest free-style smash hit from graham, or doing nothing at all but getting lost in their music while they play their games.

that is one thing that i miss more than anything about being here. and now, back to school mode.

always.....
