emphasis on the "arg" aspect of the myDoom/Novarg virus
it's been filling my mailbox all day, and thank god i have a decent virus scanner, i've had to "quarentine" about a million and a half e-mails today. i do get a little nervious when i get a bounced e-mail from myself with a virus infected attachment. suck. i already get a mass ammount of spam, but this is just amazing. it's a pretty silly virus too. The company that gets the brunt of the denial-of-service attack (sco.com) is offering a fat sum of money to catch the guy that coded it. silly.yep, today was a day, for serious. first class got cancelled on account of the midterm last night (which was by far the easiest midterm i've taken in all my years here at OSU). I didn't have class until 1, so i stayed up late, woke up a little early, went and got some cheap chinese food and ate it while watching weenTV. i'm an iTunes kid now, but the internet TV option of winamp 5 is pretty bitchin'. silly.
i've listened to the entire catalog of "Explosions in the Sky" today, including the oh-so-rare Peel Sessions that they did. I have a theory, and i'm pretty sure that if you can listen to this band and not feel any overwhelming emotion (whatever it may be), you a: don't have a soul or b: have no appriciation for the divine. silly.
i signed good ol' EdO up on the ORblogs list. it's interesting, there are a lot of crazy people out there. silly.
hung out with celina, or "c" as she likes to be called. we didn't do anything spectacular. i introduced her to the video stylings of "themselves." we talked about stuff then she left. she's a cool girl, even if she does rip off my reduced-letter-moniker-trademark [e]. [e]>>c.
this week is amazingly packed for me, so don't expect a ton up posts from me. midterm on friday, quiz on thursday, lab on thursday, homework due thursday, homework due tomorrow, final revision of article for paper due tomorrow. yech. silly.
