did i mention that i'm taking rowing this semester? i'm taking rowing this semester. we haven't gone out on the water yet, just doing conditioning and whatnot... my back hurts in places i didn't know it was possible to hurt. dear god. i just keep thinking that it'll all be worth it in a couple months when i'm in shape... here's hoping.

schmoopy moment: not only has the term "boyfriend/girlfriend" now officially been applied, but he made me dinner on saturday night. he bought a movie because he knew i'd been wanting to watch it. he remembered my dad was having knee surgery and asked how he was doing. he pays attention when i say things (long after i've already tuned myself out), asks me how my day has been, and calls me to say good morning and good night.
i think i kinda like this...

now the big question is, a month and a half into this relationship, is it too soon to ask if he wants to accompany me to my sisters wedding at the end of the month? i'm not so sure if it's a good idea...

always.....

ouch

Going to a wedding by yourself sucks.

Yeah, go ahead and ask him. It'll be a good test to see how 'down' he is. Plus, you can probably get him drunk at the wedding and have your way with him, whatever your way may be.

By the way, who is this stranger? I demand to be linked to his myspace acct. this instant.

hmm... so three boys have all encouraged me to ask him... all the girls i know have said don't do it... honestly, boys, if a girl asked you to go with her to her sister's wedding after only a little over a month, how would you react? granted, i realize y'all aren't the most "normal" individuals (excluding you, darrin, as i have no idea if you are or not), but really, would it freak you out?

Just do it. A wedding isn't that big of a deal. I mean, it probably is to you, but if he's cool (which I hope he is...), he shouldn't have a problem with it.

Go for the gold -- why hold back?

I'm a girl, I say do it. If you're this stoked a month and a half in, who knows how sweet you'll have it by the end of the March. And he's a guy: delicious treats + free cake + you in a pretty dress should answer its own invite.

Bottom line...he seems already quite smart about picking up with what's important to you, so I imagine he'd rock this out with a similar regard.

I'm what I would call "moderately" normal. But you'd have to ask someone else for a less-adulterated perspective.
