Well, I met them last night. Not the actual guys but their white middlewestern wanna-g counterparts. These guys were rediculous. I was at the cheerfull tortoise and they sat down next to me and started their jive. Hitting on the bartender. The taller one kept claiming that the shorter one was farting. The shorter one actually kept saying "I DONT GIVE A FUCK HOLMES!" Radass dudical. The best part:
Their names were MELVIN and HOWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
three years and going strong...
i was gone all summer. i didn't live there. i felt bad sticking her with the full amount of rent because i felt like joining the army (even though she knew before we even signed the contract i wouldn't be living there this summer). i agree to give her $150 a month since my stuff is there. our third roommate agrees to throw down like $200 for the summer.
my mom calls roommate to find out when to send june's rent, and she tells my mom to send $300... a full half of the total rent, what i usually pay when i actually live there.
so for june, july and august, when i should have given her $450 total, she got $900. plus the money from our third roommate. so she was paying less than half, and she was the only one living there.
i found this out last night. and now she wants me to pay for january, too, when i'm leaving a week into the month for ecuador. the way i see it, she owes me $450.
wtf??? will i ever find someone i can live with?

I don't know why i havent written in a while. it isn't because there is noting worth writing about, I just don't know what to write. i am unhappy with my style thus far. No i not unhappy with it. i just don't like it anymore. every time i log on to write, all i can seem to write about is some deep philosophy about the world, or some deep personal things that you readeres don't necessayly need to know about. It is helpful to be sometimes to write deep thoughts about myself, but it is not all i can write, you see. so please excuse my absence until i find a style i like, until my mindset when writing on this site changes.
Anywhoo, i hope you all had a great christmas. i love the guy, no. And i must compitulate, Life aquatic is fucking awesome. You can see the free spirit in the creation of it. it would be fun to make, and there is a heightned level of movie appreaciation present. i would lhave fun making this movie.

this is what college is; hanging out, boozin' it up, and remembering some of it the next day. how i love it.
saw modest mouse on wednesday. they were awesome. by far one of the best performances i've ever seen. the two opening bands were.... well, the first one was the thermals. they were decent. a lot of their stuff sounded the same, but there were a few that i really enjoyed, and they weren't too bad onstage, either. but then the second band... i don't even remember their name. savage high? static high? something to that effect... . there was nothing good about them. their music was bad, their performance was bad, they didn't even dance well. it was painful. combine that with the assholes that were around me, and i was not a happy camper.
but then modest mouse took the stage and things got a little better. the assholes around me were still pissing me off, and i know more than one of them had big fat bruises the next day, courtesy of me (and no, it wasn't an accident). overall, a very good concert and a very good night. went with chrystal and we met up with sarah, ally, alex and nathan(!!!) who just got back from austria. i missed that kid. he's good people.
alright, i'm going to nurse my hangover and do charitable works for an underpriveledge family with my sorority. hooray hooray!!!

Saw the movie CLOSER last night because I had nothing else to do. It drove me nuts. Julia Roberts looks like an elderly greyhound. Jude Law resembles a ten year old. Clive Owen is a pimp though, and Natalie Portman is a fox. You get to see her butthole. She plays a stripper.
Well, nothing else is going on. I think im going to see the INCREDIBLES and wait for something good to come out.

Things are pretty slow around here. I'm on dialup, I don't get cellphone reception and most of my friends are busy with girlfriends / jobs / whatever. In two days, I've almost finished the book "Wonder Boys," which is fucking awesome.
I have no idea what I'm going to do today, but I can tell you, it's bound to be hella unproductive. rock and roll.

I got my guitar amp back from the shop yesterday. 3.5 months and $200 (I got them to drop 50 bucks off the price) later, I have a totally rewired, completely vintage 1967 Fender Blackface amp (Pre-CBS of course). Since it took so long for them to repair it, I convinced them to throw in a free reverb tank. It sounds supreme. Orgasmic even. I played for hours last night.
But yeah, redesign. I'm not sure about it. I need to polish some thigns up. It looks pretty bitchin in mozilla (gotta love the alpha-fade), but it's kind of slow (gotta hate the alpha-fade). Whatever.
Finals went well, I only had two, but they were in my most difficult classes (Operating Systems I and Software Engineering). I'm anxious to see how I did -- I put some serious effort forth. We'll see.
But yeah, updates will probably be pretty slow, I'm returning to the vortex of my parent's house -- fucking dialup. blah.
